This is a v shaped vise/clamping system for small dowels and square shaped objects. I designed this for a specific project, so it will only handle dowels about 1"-2" in diameter. I may come back to this and update the design to handle a larger variety of sizes, but I don't need to drill dowels very often.
Printed in PETG. I reccomend using 4 or more perimeters for wall strength. I also used honeycomb infill for a little added strength. Gripping the wood was not an issue with the PETG. Also please note the model orientation in the stl file. The tolerance for the indexing pins is very tight so your slicer may try to combine the two parts if you fit it together like the picture.
Original model is in units of inches, so please print in inches or scale by 2540%.
