The Workshopboard is a stable and modular baseplate designed for experiments and prototyping with an Arduino Mega 2560.

It provides a clean mounting solution for the controller and includes a dedicated area for an AZDelivery 400-pin mini breadboard, allowing quick test circuits without components or wires shifting during use.

The board follows a consistent modular concept:

  • dovetail connectors on two sides

  • matching dovetail slots on the opposite sides

  • multiple boards can be joined together like puzzle pieces

For permanent mounting, the baseplate includes two diagonally positioned countersunk holes.

With an overall size of 124 × 124 mm, the Workshopboard remains compact while offering enough space for structured electronics work on the bench.

Included Files

This upload contains multiple versions:

  • Standard Workshopboard (Arduino + breadboard layout)

  • Blank baseplate version for custom setups

  • STEP file for CAD modifications and integration into larger projects

Print Settings (recommended)

  • Material: PLA (PETG also suitable)

  • Layer height: 0.2 mm

  • Infill: 15%

  • Supports: Not required

Assembly Notes

M3 nuts are inserted from the backside into the prepared pockets.
The Arduino Mega is mounted using M3×12 cylinder head screws (DIN 912).

Note: depending on the board version, one screw position may be close to an SMD component — mount carefully or omit this screw if needed.

The breadboard is attached using its self-adhesive backing strip.
