I wanted a simple base that lets anyone design their own decorative dreamcatcher style patterns.

Instead of printing a fixed design, this ring lets you be creative and make a unique piece every time.

It’s perfect as:

  • Wall decoration

  • Kids’ craft project

  • Relaxing hobby project

  • Handmade gift

🎨 How to Use

  1. Print the ring

  2. Choose thread, yarn, embroidery floss or thin string

  3. Tie a knot in one hole

  4. Start weaving between the holes to create patterns

  5. Add feathers, beads or ribbons if you like

  6. Hang it on the wall or in a window

You can make:

  • Classic dreamcatcher webs

  • Geometric patterns

  • Random abstract designs

🧩 Tips

  • Use a needle to make threading easier

  • Thicker yarn gives a bold look, thin thread gives more detailed patterns

🖨 Print Settings

  • Printer: Ender 3 Pro

  • Material: PETG

  • Layer height: 0.2 mm

  • Infill: 5%

  • 2 top, 2 bottom, 2 walls (It doesn't need a ton of strength, it only holds string 😉)

  • Supports: No

🧩 Versions Included (Hole Variations)

This model comes in 5 different versions, so you can create everything from simple to very detailed patterns:

All versions are with an outer diameter of 200mm

  • 10 holes – Great for simple, bold geometric designs. Perfect for kids or quick projects.

  • 20 holes – A balanced option for classic dreamcatcher-style webs.

  • 30 holes – More detailed patterns while still easy to thread.

  • 40 holes – For intricate and decorative designs.

  • 50 holes – Maximum detail, ideal for complex webs and advanced string art.

You can choose a version depending on:

  • Skill level

  • Thickness of your thread/yarn

  • How dense you want the pattern to look
