Creality hat bei einigen Geräten und dem CFS die Möglichkeit geschaffen das Filament per RFID Tag automatisch zu erkennen. Leider gibt es zur Zeit (Feb. 2026) nur ein paar PLA Filamente von Creality mit einem entsprechenden RFID Tag. Doch zum Glück kann man die Tag sehr leicht ausstellen und selber Tags erstellen für Filamente anderer Hersteller. Die Tags werden mit einem Android-Handy (Sorry Apple) ausgelesen und beschrieben. Alles sehr einfach. Die Software gibt es im Playstore und dann erkennt der Drucker sofort um welches Filament und um welche Farbe es sich handelt. Auch die restliche Menge Filament auf der Spule wird erkannt. Alles sehr praktisch.
Das einzige was schwieriger ist, ist das man den Tag an der richtigen Position aufklebt damit das CFS diesen auch auslesen kann. Dafür habe ich dieses Tool konstruiert - damit klappt es ganz einfach.
Es werden pro Spule zwei Tags benötigt (für beide Seiten).
Creality has implemented the option to automatically identify filament via RFID tag on some of its devices and the CFS (Creality Filament System). Unfortunately, currently (February 2026), only a few Creality PLA filaments come with a corresponding RFID tag. However, it's very easy to create these tags by your own for filaments from other manufacturers. The tags are read and written using an Android phone (sorry, Apple). It's all very simple. The software is available in the Play Store, and the printer then immediately recognizes the type and color of filament. It also detects the remaining amount of filament on the spool. Very convenient.
The only tricky part is ensuring the tag is attached in the correct position so the CFS can read it. That's why I created this tool – it makes it a breeze.
Two tags are required per spool (one for each side).
