This Olympic barbell holder is a functional, print‑friendly design built to keep your bar safely off the floor and out of the way. The geometry is optimised for strength, with thick walls, generous fillets, and load‑bearing surfaces that distribute weight evenly across the mount.

• Mounts to a wall or rack using standard screws/bolts (i used 7.5x100mm concrete screws as it went into block)

• Smooth internal radius to protect bar knurling

• Approximately 140g of filament 

• Approximately 4 hour print time

Recommended Print Settings

• Material: PETG or ABS for best durability

• Infill: minimum 20% (I used Gyroid which I recommend)

• Perimeters: 5 walls for strength

• Layer Height: 0.2mm

Mounting Notes: Always secure the holder into solid timber studs, masonry, or a metal rack. The strength of the print is only as good as the surface you mount it to. If storing heavier specialty bars, consider using two mounts spaced appropriately.
