Valentine V1 Gen 2 Windshield Adapter Mount (S550 Mustang)

Purpose: For securely mounting the Valentine V1 Gen 2 radar detector onto the windhsield of S550 Mustangs, without the unreliability of suction cups. I am personally not a fan of suction cups, so I created this. Uses the standard mounting clip that shipped with the V1 Gen 2 (V1 Gen 1 uses a different P/N, so I cannot confirm compatibility). This is nothing more than a simple plate that replaces the suction cups, and provides a flat surface to use any form of adhesive.

Designed for: Valentine V1 Gen 2 (unknown for Gen 1 devices)

File formats provided: Part, STEP and STL files.

Suggested material & settings:

• Material: TPU, ASA, Nylon, or other high-temperature resistant material

• Layer Height: 0.20 mm

• Adhesive: 3M Dual Lock (for removability), or 3M VHB tape (for permanent/semi-permanent installations).

Installation: Pull the original suction cups out of their mounts (you will need to pull down, towards the front-facing radar first, before it will come out). This part will install in reverse order. Secure to your vehicle with your favourite form of adhesive and enjoy! Vehicle used in images is a S550 Mustang.

Adjustments may or may not be necessary, hence why I have provided the original part files. Adjust as required!
