Paint Roller Cleaner (Hydro-Spin)

I designed it to work with standard bathroom shower connections or through additional garden hoses connectors, it spins the roller to flush out paint and dry it simultaneously.

 Water Connection: Standard ½” BSP thread (fits a typical bathroom shower hose).

Optional: You can also use a Gardena-style connector if preferred.

 Roller Size: Dedicated to rollers up to 25 cm in height.

 Recommended Materials: Since this device works with water and mechanical stress, material choice is important:

PET: (not petg pet-cf just PET) Recommended for the Main Top, Main Bottom, Lock, Legs, Pins.

PETG: Recommended for Nozzle. 

TPU: for the Feet

Rivet size 6L8 you need set of 4 pins and inserts.

How to Use:

1. Connect: Screw your shower hose (½” BSP) into the device input. 

2. Insert: Place the paint roller through the top hole. Rest the roller's metal bar on the internal saddle-shaped support. 

3. Water On: Turn on the water. You will need moderate to high pressure for the best results.

4. Spin & Clean:

• Hold the roller handle firmly with one hand. Keep the roller vertical and centered within the hole.

• With your other hand, adjust the nozzle direction so the water spray hits the roller tangentially. This will cause the roller to spin rapidly.

5. Finish: The centrifugal force will flush out the paint. Continue spinning until the water runs clear. In my experience, a thorough clean takes about 5 minutes.

 Safety Note: The roller spins at high speeds. Please keep your hands clear of the spinning roller and ensure the device is stable before turning on the water.
