I had the original hinges installed and really liked them. But, I installed a heater with the 7.5mm panel spacer that provides relief for the heater cables. After intalling the spacer on the left side of my printer (my choice), I realized that the orginal hinges would not work.
So, remixed the hinge upper and lower arms (ONLY) to include an offset that accomodates the spacer. The spacer calls for M3x12 hex screws. I had to use 4 ea., M3x16 hex screws for mounting the upper and lower hinge arms. If you want to use these modified hinge arms, with that 7.5mm spacer installed on the left side of the printer, you will also need all of the other parts in the orginal 270 degree hinge set listed.
It took me several iterations of modifying these hinge arms in TinkerCAD, creating gauge tools from the modified arms to "tune" the spacing. (other, more powerful 3D software may have been easier but, I don't know how to use those) Even after I thought I got it right there was still a clearance I didn't catch when I printed what I thought was a final set of hinge arms. So after 1 more modification, and I printed another set of hinge arms, I got them right. I re-used the all the other door mounted hardware; I acutally never removed it from the original installation.
One last thing, I embosed a "U" and an "L" for the upper and lower arms respectively - because I could, and I thought it would be helpful.
Printed in PETG on my ECC 0.4 nozzle, 02. layer, with supports enabled but, blocked for the M3 screw holes.
This is probably one of my more "ambitious" modifications and I'm pleased it works for me. I hope some of you find it useful as well.
