Valentine's Tic-Tac-Toe game that uses magnets and spinners for a fun and unique game!
UPDATE April 1, 2026: Modified the Blank, Heart, and Cupid Tiles for better retention - moved the 4 retention bumps slightly to make them click in place instead of simply deforming the Spinner socket edges. You don't need to update your Tiles if you've already built your Tic-Tac-Toe game and the Tiles are not coming loose!
Requires 36 neodymium magnets - 6mm round by 3mm tall. Otherwise, everything is 3D printed in PETG or PLA.
Besides the 36 (6mm by 3mm) round neodymium magnets, you'll print the following parts:
1 - 36 Magnet Cartridges - magnets are pushed into these - polarity doesn't matter!
2 - 9 Cradles - holds Spinner Assemblies in Bottom
3 - 9 Cradle Covers - holds Magnet Cartridges in place in Cradle
4 - 9 Spinners - each Spinner Assembly contains 3 Magnet Cartridges, and 3 different Tiles
5 - 9 Knobs - passes through Spinners and rests in Cradles
6 - 9 Heart Tiles - one inserted in each Spinner
7 - 9 Cupid Tiles - one inserted in each Spinner
8 - 9 Blank Tiles - one inserted in each Spinner
9 - 1 Bottom - contains Cradle Assemblies
10 - 1 Top - snaps onto Bottom to hold game together
The following photo shows all the 3D printed parts that make up a Magnetic Valentine's Tic-Tac-Toe game:

The following renders show all the 3D printed parts that make up a Magnetic Valentine's Tic-Tac-Toe game (oriented per the assembled game - not as printed!)...

Please refer to the following images for assembly of the Magnetic Valentine's Tic-Tac-Toe game…

To allow modifications, I have provided STEP (.stp) files for all parts.
3MF files have been provided for the complete Magnetic Valentine's Tic-Tac-Toe game, for each part individually, and for each part in the quantity required (1, 9, or 36).
The Magnetic Valentine's Tic-Tac-Toe game seen in the photos was printed with various colors of Bambu and Sunlu PETG and PLA filament with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height with a 10% gyroid infill. Supports are only needed for the Cartridge Covers. Brims are not needed for any part and should not be used!
