Rokenbok Forklift Lift Gear Repair

As Rokenbok ages, the vehicles will crack their drive and lift gears. The forklift is no exception to this. 

These prints are tiny! Make sure your printer and filament are dialed in before attempting. I would advise printing out of PETG minimum, and print slower than normal if using a snappy printer. The gears should require tapping onto the shaft because of the shaft's knurling. I used the butt of a screw driver after chasing the gear center hole with one of the forklift's body screws. If you find your gears are absolutely too tight (or too loose), use XY hole compensation in your slicer to tweak the hole as needed.

Included are 4 files. Try printing "Forklift Gear Teeth" and 2x "Forklift Washer" first. The two washers stacked are the correct gear spacing when tapping it onto the clutch shaft. One will be installed on the opposite end of the shaft as needed to reduce play (see picture).

If the Gear Teeth model won't print right for you, or does not last once installed, I've included experimental files "Forklift Gear for TPU Bushing" and "Forklift TPU Bushing." I intended to test them, but the Gear Teeth model worked well enough in my one broken forklift to not want to open it back up to try them. In theory they should grab enough to lift things, but I don't want to speculate on if they will allow enough slip to avoid damage to other gears in the lift mechanism. Use at your own risk.
