Rokenbok Transgripper Forks

The Rokenbok Transgripper is one of the more unique vehicles in the line up due to its transverse clamping forks. On the earlier models these forks were permanently attached, and once broken you are out of luck. At some point the forks were updated to be removable, but that brought its own problem: now they get lost! Almost every transgripper you'll find for sale these days is missing at least one fork.

There's one main problem when it comes to printing replacement forks. The existing model for them is designed for a mold casted rubber sleeve that is essentially impossible to print, even out of TPU. It works fine if you have broken forks and can harvest the sleeves from them, but doesn't help for when the forks are missing outright.

This model solves that by redesigning the forks and grippers to be printable out of PLA/PETG for the forks and TPU for the grip inserts.

There are 4 included models: Two sets of forks and two sets of grips. The difference between the sets are decorative patterns that may or may not cause printing issues depending on printer and material used. They don't impact function, so pick whatever set you want and can print. None of the models need supports.

IMPORTANT: The right fork's model has a nub under its snap socket. This is intentional due to tolerance concerns on that fork's gear bar. Trim/cut/sand the nub as needed in order for the right fork to sit level when installed. The snap sockets can tolerate a handful of snap cycles before you should consider reprinting.
