I needed a contour gauge that wasn't based on commercial available ones. It had to lay flat, be symmetrical in the measuring direction, move with very little force and be lockable.
Stroke length is 3cm and span is nearly 13cm.
Parts needed
1 x M4 18mm hex head screw
2 x M4 12mm socket head screw
3 x M4 hex nuts
(tip for not having to stock every length of screw: buy long ones and just cut/file them down to whatever size you need)
Printing
Printing the frame
I recommend adding supports so the counterbore and nut holes come out clean, but it should work without.
Printing the blades
You need to print 71 of the blades. Print on a smooth plate and turn on ironing so there are no tiny lumps keeping the blades apart.
Important! Wipe the entire build plate with IPA before printing a large set of blades, or a few might detach and cause issues.
Assembly

Insert two hex nuts in the the bottom frame.

Flip the bottom frame over and drop in all the blades carefully.

Drop in the clamp part with the indent towards the thumbscrew hole. Drop in a square or hex nut into the space in the middle of the thumbscrew path.

Place the top frame ontop of the bottom and screw in the two socket head screws.

Press the hex head screw in all the way until it seats in the thumbscrew "handle", then screw it into the side hole of the frame.

The contour gauge is now complete!
