I wanted to be able to set this lamp on any desk and also have a nice place to put small things, sd cards, keys, etc.

You will need:
6x #6 x 1/2 wood screws (full thread)
1x 4x30 mm socket cap screw
1x 4mm nylock nut
1x fender washer
also some heavy stuff.
I Plan on gluing in some old metal punch outs although filling with plaster would be my second option -- for much needed counter weight (I do not want this thing to tip over).
Also going to need cork or felt to glue to the bottom. (use sandpaper ~220 grit. on the bottom to make it rough enough for the glue to stick).
