This birdhouse is made to be printed in 6 beds, allowing to pick different colours
It is then assembled with 10 M4 bolts (M4x10 with button heads should work better) and 8 M4 nuts.
The bottom is predrilled for potential water evacuation and attaching the birdhouse to a support. countersunk M5 bolt should fit there.
To assemble:
Start from the bottom
Bolt the pole support, using 4 M5x20 bolts and nuts
Bolt the back, then the front, using 2 times 2 M4 bolts and nuts
Bolt both sides, using 2 times 2 M4 bolts and nuts. They should "just fit". Careful, they are cut at angle, so right and left are symmetrical
Slide the left and ride roof, it should be a bit tight. If you don't care about future disassemble, you can drop a bit of glue, but I didn't use any
Finally, bring the top part, squeeze it in place and assemble with one bolt on each side. If you struggle with screwing (the thread might not be perfect), just use a tap first.
You have each part independently and a prusa project that contains 6 build plates and some custom supports. Most parts print without support, with the exception of the top of the roof. Since it prints flat, most of the surface have a super nice finish, I've used PETG and satin plate.
roof is red PETG, as it should
sides /walls) and pole support are translucent PETG
bottom is black opaque PETG
I assembled it with my 7 years old and this was a great success, full assembly pictures, in order, can be found in this album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/YMZBohqjcRAXpcGR6
