Introducing my FABULOUS collapsible crate!! A good deal of love and work were put into these boxes in order to design such a box as this! They are designed in the program "Onshape" and are designed to be stackable, print-in-place, AND support free. To print one, simply put the 3d file into your slicer, add an outer brim, and print(with a specific layer height)!. Enjoy with no further assembly required!
There are other collapsible boxes knocking around on these websites, but often they are printed in parts, causing excessively long print times or requiring multiple print runs to complete, due to the fact that the all parts must be printed flat on the plate.
Features
Any Size requested can be printed (Simply send me a DM or leave a comment here, and I will add it to this page)
Wall thickness
Depth of box when closed
height of walls
inner dimensions (LxW)
Stackable when open or closed
print in place: the entire box prints in one go!
Support free! only requires a brim for better bed adhesion!
Note that this is contingent on a 0.2mm layer height specifically
Files and Options
EDIT: ADDED second batch of files to fit prusa mini beds (7" beds)
Within a standard grouping of files you will find:
an "outer" box which has inner dimensions compatible with the outer dimensions of the smaller boxes
Smaller box which is 1 inner length by 1/2 inner length (0p5 x 1 inner)
Smaller box which is 1 inner length by 1 inner length (1x1_inner)
Smaller box which is 1/2 inner length x 1/2 inner length (0p5x0p5_inner)

As an example, the image above features the outer box, 2x of the 0p5x0p5 boxes, and 1x of the 0p5x1 box. Likewise, you can have any combination of the inner boxes. One such example is shown below!

Printing Instructions:
Nozzle: 0.4mm
Layer Height: 0.2mm (if you do a different layer height, you will potentially have some misprints)
The design of support free is contingent on .2 mm layer height
Infill : 15%
Wall loops: 2
Brim: enabled
!!!!No other supports should be necessary. even if your slicer finds overhangs. This is accounted for in the design of the model!!!
Post Printing Instructions
While this is print in place, there is more-or-less exactly one thing to be aware of when opening and closing these boxes. When the box is closed/opened, it is important to open the walls with the tooth a bit farther than vertical, to allow the lower wall to pass in front of the locking tooth (see steps below). The VERY first time this is done, depending on the size of the box and filament used, it might be a bit stiff/sticky, so just be firm-but-gentle :)
See below!
Fresh print!

Remove from your printer! First we lower one of the walls with the 2 large holes. To do this, ease the side wall pegs out of the way, so that your wall can fold down, as shown below. You only need to JUST ease the walls-with-pegs out of the way so that the walls-with-large-holes can fold down first. see the images below:

^walls-with-pegs eased SLIGHTLY out of the way

^once the walls-with-holes are past the pegs, you can just fold the walls-with-holes down
Fold down remaining sides!

Enjoy!

If you forget what size you have, the size is printed on the inner wall (along with my name :)) of the model!

boxes can come in all sorts of sizes (check page or request below for the size you need) and can easily stack and collapse and store! Total thickness is dependent on wall thickness, and floor thickness!
the box in the example above collapses to only 18mm thick!
