A fallout style minigun scaled for the 7" McFarlane Maximus figure and others. My Maximus came with just a hammer, the super deluxe one has lots of weapons but the paint job is poor - sadly you can't buy the weapons seperately so thought I'd have a go at scaling some to fit.
Original was by Heimdall2710 on thingiverse.
Adaptive layer height set to 0.3 and smoothed about 6 times in orca. Print in at least PLA+ or stronger.
Split the drum into 2 for easier printing, solid one included too.
Totally redid the barrels myself to a much higher quaity (originals were quite low poly) and split them up for easier printing. I joined these with tiny bits of straightened filament (cut with a sharp knife so its nice and flat -not snips) in the holes and superglue. They will likely need a bit of sanding to tidy them up and smooth them depending on your printer etc, I did the outsides and inner bit you could see, left the inside.
Reworked the chain mag feed as it was so thin could barely print it. Thickened up now. When prining this make sure you paint support blocker all over the bullets (and the gaps) in the chain mag or you'll have a nightmare getting it out and it doesn't need it - printed fine for me without.
The ‘support’ part I found a little tight and needed filing to make it round again. Print the whole of this part as 100% solid fill for strength.
When printing the 'body' part make sure you edit your settings to have the entire handle part and it's support in solid 100% fill as it's quite weak, even like this I managed to snap off the top support, is fine without it though. I have also included updated body with a reinforced handle.
