Mudguards

Mudguards for the Floatwheel ADV/Pro with BTG tire.
I haven't tested them on ADV2 (it has different motor plug) but it should fit coz apparently ADV1 has chunkier motor plug anyway (but better check).

Can fit Onewheel Threaded Rally XL tire (7in/12in) - the widest and one of the tallest (if not THE tallest) tire on the market. TFL BTG Thundercat will fit no problem (it is narrower and slightly smaller than Threaded XL).
On 10psi the minimal gap between the tire and the mudguard ~4mm (motor plug side).

(gap between the tire and the mudguard on the motor-plug side)

Front/back mudguards aren't identical - each side is optimized for the space (motor plug is chunkier hence less space on the motor-plug side). Mudguards completely cover the motor cable plug and battery cable gaskets from the dirt with double-stage walls as well as prevent the accumulation of the mud in between the bumper and battery/controller boxes (which IS the case with default mudguards) thanks to snug fit of the mudguards, the bumper and rails.

Also walls help to reduce the pressure on the motor plug from the tire (tire on low PSI and hard deep carves may deform and rub against the mudguard). I have this exact issue with smaller 6in Onewheel Threaded tire - motor plug become a bit loose because of the pressure from the tire)

(two walls prevent dirt and water splashes from going inside the "chamber" tho I'd advice to waterproof connectors still)

(the walls go all the way up to the rail inner wall)

Compatible with HYPERFORMA ADV fender delete or HYPERFORMA ADV minifender (in fact any custom fender delete/minifender which are being made by splitting original minifender model in half), tho BEST compatible with my fender delete and my minifender (the inner wall match perfectly with my designs).

Be aware that you will need to partially disassemble your ADV (take off at least one of the rails and the wheel) to install these mudguards.

Fender delete

My design has two extra screw holes which make the connection with mudguards tighter and prevent the rattle of the fender delete. You will need 4 extra screws for that (2 for each side) 2.2mm x 6.5mm with 4mm head (DIN7981C). Or just print the version without the screw holes using some hard-ass carbon filament with 100 infill to make it rigid). You choose.

Print Advice

  • PETG-CF recommended, PETG, PETG-HF also fine tho they may warp a bit (according to my tests)

  • Support enabled (tree hybrid + 35deg threshold) - side walls require it

  • 2 walls (6mm nozzle) or 3 walls (4mm nozzle) should be enough

  • 15-20% infill (gyroid) should be enough

  • Arachne wall generator

  • You can enable "Smoothing wall speed along Z" (BambuStudio, Orca Slicer) fro nicer finish

  • Add 100% infill modifiers for all the holes (to make them stiffer and stronger)
