Using tape and the printed mounts you can create a full enclosure for your AD5M. Its not pretty but it works. The original upgrade kit is around £40 and requires you to print most of it yourself …
Disclaimer : Keep all tape / external material away from build plate and heater. Secure them thoroughly to avoid materials touch any hot parts.
Requires:
- Roll of Tape (I used approx. 30m of Duct Tape)
Steps
Print out parts
Print out 3 X Printer Corner Piece and 1 X Printer Corner Piece Back Left
Install the corner pieces
Unscrew the top corner panel screws
Use those screws to screw in corner mounts
Tape up the sides completely
Tape up Front about half way up
It's a bit DIY so decide for yourself if you want front access or only top access
Tape around the top mounts sides
Tape over the top to create a perimeter of tape
Create a makeshift lid
