A portable yarn spinner I designed for a friend (inspired by an overpriced item in the TikTok shop) to fit nicely in a small knitting bag. This design requires a 608 ball bearing, an M3x4mm heat-set insert, and an M3x5 mm bolt. The bolt is glued into the hole in the spike, and the heat-set insert is put into the spinning disc. There are small reliefs on the bottom of the base to add small rubber feet to prevent the spinner from sliding.
Alternatively, you could adjust the hole size on the spike and use 2 heat-set inserts and a longer headless M3 bolt to connect the two. Hole sizes might need some adjustment, as the tolerances are pretty tight, and were adjusted for shrinking on my printer (Centauri Carbon) w/ PLA.
