This is an OpenSCAD parametric model for mounting an FPV video transmitter and optional cooling fan to RC vehicles. I will primarily use this for mounting the VTX to fixed wing aircraft, but it should work equally as well for RC rovers and boats. I designed the model to be printed in TPU or PETG/PLA. The fan and VTX are attached to the print using threaded inserts. The file is currently defaulted to the following settings:
VTX: AKK Race Ranger (30.5x30.5) spacing
Fan: 40mm PC fan
Hardware: M3 screws and threaded inserts
You should be able to adjust the model to fit just about any VTX and fan. If you only need a flat mount with no fan mount, just print the base and you're good to go.
The OpenSCAD model has 3 rendering views, Full Assembly, Base and Inverted Fan Plate. You can select the different views to render and print.
