Tired of messy glue ruining your multi-color prints? This snap-fit Buffalo Bills logo is engineered to lock together without any adhesive. At 6 mm thick, it has a solid, substantial heft that stands up on a desk or mounts flat to a wall using standard double-sided tape.

Modeled from scratch in OpenSCAD and dialed in on a 0.4 mm nozzle setup, the fit uses dual-calibrated tolerances so both the broad buffalo silhouette and the narrow charging stripe seat firmly with a clean thumb click. You can run all three colors independently on single-spool printers or send the multi-plate project directly to your CFS or AMS setup.

MODEL VARIANTS & PROJECT FILES

Files are provided as both individual STL components and a pre-configured 3-plate 3MF project:

• Plate 1 (01_Base_White): 6 mm backing frame with recessed alignment pockets and perimeter border.
• Plate 2 (02_Body_Blue): Main buffalo body and legs insert (0.10 mm fit tolerance).
• Plate 3 (03_Streak_Red): Center charging stripe accent (0.05 mm fit tolerance).

RECOMMENDED PRINT SETTINGS

• Orientation: Flat on the bed, face up (no supports needed).
• Material: PLA or PLA+ (stiff filament gives the cleanest mechanical snap).
• Layer Height: 0.20 mm (mandatory to maintain the snap-fit geometry).
• Wall Generator: Arachne (mandatory to resolve the narrow white border around the eye and stripe tail).
• Wall Loops: 3 to 4 perimeters.
• Top / Bottom Shells: 5 top, 4 bottom.
• Infill: 15% Gyroid.
• Elephant Foot Compensation: 0.15 mm (critical—excess first-layer squish will prevent parts from sliding into the base).
• Brim: None required on clean PEI.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Let parts cool completely: Do not snap warm parts off the build plate; soft plastic won't hold mechanical tension properly.
2. Place the white base flat on a hard surface: Set it down on a flat tabletop.
3. Seat the blue body: Align the blue buffalo body over the base pocket and press firmly with your thumb until it snaps flush.
4. Seat the red stripe: Press the red charging stripe into the center channel to lock everything together.
