*****Update 3/6/2026: Correct Rebated Magnum Tray uploaded. (oops)****
*****Update 3/3/2026: Added Rebated Magnum Tray and Test Piece*****

Have you ever forgotten to prime your brass before loading the powder? Me neither.

But if you think you might in the future, these reloading trays will save you time, money, and precious Vihtavuori! Just look for the sunshine through the brass before throwing that charge!

Models

I have folders for the test pieces. I strongly recommend you print a test piece before the whole model in case you need to adjust your X-Y Hole Compensation.

The full models are 208mm wide, so they should fit on a standard bed.

I currently have 4 trays available in the 4 most popular parent cartridges/bolt faces:
223 tray for the 0.385" bolt face.
 - 223, 5.56x45, 6x45, 300 Blackout, etc
PPC / Grendel / ARC tray for the 0.455" bolt face.
 - 6 PPC, 6.5 Grendel, 6 ARC, 22 ARC, 7.62x39, etc
308 / 30-06 tray for the 0.480" bolt face.
 - short and long action oldies and variants
 - Dasher, GT, x47 Lapua, XC, Creedmoor, 7mm Backcountry
 - May work with BR (let me know if it needs to be shallower to allow room for the funnel!)
Magnum tray for the 0.550" bolt face.
 - Win Mags, 7PRC
Rebated Magnum Tray for 0.555"/14.1mm rebated cartridge base.
 - WSM, 6.8 Western, RUM, SAUM, .26-.33 Nosler, SOCOM, etc

***Rebated Trays are coming - i.e. 6.5x284***

The Inverted Trays are for holding the cartridges upside down securely when using spray resizing lube such as Hornady One-Shot, Liquid Wrench RV Dry Lube, or your favorite lanolin home-brew.  The base needs the lube more than the shoulder, and spraying brass upright in a reloading tray shields the critical area.

I currently have Inverted Trays for 7 calibers and hopefully more in the future:
 - 22cal
 - 6mm
 - 6.5mm
 - 270cal
 - 7mm
 - 30cal
 - 338cal

Everything stacks!

I like color-coding for easy identification of trays:

Printing

If printing with a 0.4mm nozzle, I highly recommend keeping the layer height at 0.2mm. Otherwise, the 45-degree bottom chamfer might have some loose strings if printing at 0.25mm (essentially a 45degree overhang).

Supports: None
Layer Height: 0.2mm
Walls/Top/Bottom: 4/4/4
Avoid Crossing Walls: YES
Only One Wall Top Surface: YES
Infill: Adaptive Gyroid, Cubic, or Adaptive Cubic
Sparse Infill Density: 15 or 20% at 140% line width
Brim: Mouse Ear, 7mm (or entire outer brim, whatever sticks to your bed)

Reloading Tray print time is ~8h:45m (185g filament) and Inverted Tray is ~7h:00m (132g filament) at these speeds-
First Layer: 50mm/s
Outer Wall: 100mm/s
Inner Wall: 150mm/s
Sparse Infill: 150mm/s
Solid Infill: 140mm/s
Top Surface: 50mm/s

Future Additions:
 - 257cal Inverted Tray
 - 358cal Inverted Tray
 - Lapua Magnum Reloading and Inverted Trays
 - Cheytac?

****More photos to come as I print them****
