A 12 page photo album I designed and printed with pla and 95a tpu.
This is a multi-material print, you will need a printer capable of using pla and tpu in the same print for this model.
Printed with a .4 nozzle and. 2 layers. 15% gyroid infill.
Print the spine standing on end.
I have included the binding section as a separate file that can be printed out of PLA to use as a tool to clear out the channels in the spine if you have trouble sliding the pages into place and to help remove the brim from the channels.
When you load the step file in the slicer you will need to separate the pages/covers to parts and assign the binding part as tpu and the page part as pla.
I recommend using both beam interlocking and interface shells for best results, located in the multimaterial tab in orca/snapmaker orca.
Print 12 pages, 2 covers, 1 spine, and 2 spine caps. The spine caps will have to be glued on.
The covers are blank but you can add any custom text you would like by adding a text modifier to the face. I set it to .4mm depth, that way it gives 2 layers of color for the text.
