This Clip-On Sunglasses Case features an integrated filament hinge, a soft felt lining, and a secure magnetic closure. The design includes precision cutouts on both sides for seamless felt and magnet integration.
Assembly Instructions
Felt Insertion: Use the provided printable template to cut your felt cloth to the perfect shape. Set a pause in your slicer at the layer before the glasses-shaped cavity begins. Secure the felt using thin double-sided tape to prevent it from shifting while the printer layers on top of it.
Magnetic Lock: Program a second pause to insert the magnets (10×2mm).
Pro Tip: Add a small drop of glue to the magnets when seating them. This prevents them from jumping out of the pocket and sticking to the metal nozzle during the next pass.
Final Assembly: Once printed, simply slide a length of 1.75mm filament through the hinge holes to join the two halves.
