No supports required, I printed in PETG but other materials should be fine.
Friction fits into follower, you can use a small amount of adhesive if required, or scale the print to suit your printer.
Fits a Ø6x6 cylindrical magnet or 2 stacked Ø6*3mm.
Installation:
I strongly recommend against pulling the drum spring out by the tail, this can easily bend the coil and reduce the force exerted for first ~20mm or so of follower travel.
Instead, use a long ruler or long object to push the follower down to the base of the magazine body (after removing the end cap) to expose the underside. If removing the follower is required you can simply hook the leftover coil on the edge of the magazine body.
After reinserting the follower, ensure your object of choice is preventing travel of the follower inside the magazine body before unhooking the spring.
Removal:
Follow the steps as above and remove the follower.
Using a flat head screwdriver or some needle nose pliers, grip the part by the exposed angled recess and pull out.
