Parametric Easter Egg – Screw‑Together Two‑Part Design with or without text

This 3D‑printed Easter egg is a fun, functional, and customizable design made of two parts—a top half and a bottom half—that screw together securely. It’s perfect for storing small gifts, candy, chocolate eggs, surprises, or whatever you want to hide inside.

The model works great as a decorative Easter piece, a gift container, or as part of an egg hunt. When printed in translucent or light‑diffusing filament, it can also be used with LEDs or small lights to create a soft glowing effect.

• Two‑part screw mechanism
  The top and bottom halves twist together with a clean, reliable thread that prints easily on most FDM printers.

  Several size options are available, including a large 270 mm version, which is about the biggest you can comfortably print on a standard printer like the Prusa i3 MK3.

• Blank & personalized versions
  Each size comes in two variants:

  • A blank egg for users who want to add their own text or decorations in the slicer.

  • Pre‑made versions with names already included.

• Optional light‑up effect
  Printed with translucent filament, the egg becomes a decorative lamp or glowing ornament—great for seasonal displays.

• Open for customization
  I’ve also included the Autodesk Fusion (.f3d) source file, so you can tweak dimensions, change the text, or fully redesign the pattern.

Printing Tips

• No supports required

• Use 0.2 mm layer height or finer for smoother threading

• A small amount of thread smoothing (light sanding or turning the halves back and forth a few times) may help after printing
