.3mf profiles for Prusa Slicer and Bambu Studio

Upon user suggestion (@StephenWilli_3950709) I have added a print profile and .stl files for ears, left and right, along with left and right mounting templates. Fix the ears using super glue. Enjoy!

Print Recommendations & Profiles

Dual Profile Options

• Multi-Color (Multi Color/No AMS): Print the head, eyes, and pupils separately in your chosen colors.

• Single Color (Mono Color): For a clean, monochromatic look.

• Note: Both profiles include the mounting box for the head.

Fit & Tolerances only - applies Multi Color/No AMS-profile

I have included two sizes of eyes and pupils to ensure a perfect fit regardless of your printer's calibration:

• Tight Fit (Build Plates 4 & 5): Ideal if your K-factor and flow rate are dialed in.

• Loose Fit (Build Plates 6 & 7): Slightly smaller components if the standard set feels too tight, might need some glue for fixing.

Orientation & Stability

The mounting box is oriented on its edge to optimize surface finish and reduce filament waste due to overhangs.

• Supports: Organic "paint-on" supports are pre-configured on the slanting side for stability.

• Adhesion (Crucial): Due to the long, narrow footprint and 3-wall thickness, internal tension can cause the part to lift around layer 30 (~6mm).

• The Fix: While brims were insufficient in testing, a 3-layer Raft solved the issue perfectly. This profile uses a raft to maximize success with minimal filament impact.

• Alternative Option: If you still experience lifting, consider printing the box standing flat on its bottom (included in .3mf file). This will require more supports for the overhangs but provides a larger footprint.

In two orientation alternatives: 1) on the edge to optimize surface finish and reduce filament waste or 2) standing on its side require more supports

Note on Warping

If you choose to slice this yourself: be aware that the mass of 3+ walls on a narrow base creates significant shrinkage force as the PLA cools. I highly recommend sticking with the (3-layer) Raft settings provided in the 3.mf to prevent the ends from overpowering the bed adhesion.
