A simple 3-bladed paint stirrer which uses common/cheap dowel rod for a shaft (friction fit). Perfect for using up the last few meters on a spool of filament. Fully reusable, but cheap enough to throw away [almost] guilt-free. Just drive an appropriately sized dowel into the tapered side of the stirrer, throw the other end of the dowel into your drill chuck, and off you go. Said taper and internal profile ensure a strong friction fit.
I designed this as a simple/cheap alternative to more complex designs, or designs that use threaded rod and other problematic shafts. My primary use case is touching up paint around the house: I need a hassle-free way to thoroughly stir a can of paint that may have sat on a shelf for a few years.
The included model is sized for a 1/4" wooden shaft, with an overall diameter of 60mm and a depth of 15mm. Scale in your slicer to accommodate other shaft diameters. Smooth metal rod should also work, as the design relies on some plastic distortion for a tight fit-but this has not been tested. Threaded rod is not recommended since it would likely just tear into the plastic, and is a pain to clean anyway (my original objection).
