After fiddling around the model (35 versions or something) and 3-4 different magnets, i can confidently say that, this version satisfied me 100%.
Parts fit the joystick friction fit. No cuts, no holes all reversible. Friction fit depends on your filament and printer settings and conditions really, so you might need a bit of playing around with it.
Magnet is 4mm height cylinder magnet with 2mm diameter.
Sensor is SS495A1, hot glued to the sensor holder part, which is then inserted into the D shaped hole in the joystick shaft, normally where the pot is inserted.
This joystick has 8 bit sampling on the rudder axis, at least that's what i figured. Since we can not change the joystick firmware, we have to somehow supply the same voltages with the hall effect sensor as the pot does on the same angles. How this fits perfectly, i'll never know.
These parts for me, with this magnet, produce a 0 to 255 value full deflection with the center being right on the center at 127. Obviously zero jitter. :D
SCAD would have made soo much sense here, but i jumped in the F360 and did a terrible model there, but if anyone needs drop me a message, i'll upload it.
