The original model appears to have been built from laying three layers on top of each other without proper alignment, which results in very visible offsets around the sides of the frame.
In response, I redesigned the frame in Tinkercad as a single solid block and then applying negative volumes instead of using layers like the original.
Recommend printing vertically (slot facing up) with tree support on print bed only (on my X1 Carbon this created a single tree that easily and cleanly snaps off).
