This part (red in the image) holds the qidi hub lower, so that you have room to add a PTFE y-splitter without trimming the stock PTFE length or creating a sharper bend. This extra distance does increase the filament change time by 5-10 seconds. The splitter will now allow you to use your external spool holder.
Use 3 perimeters and 20% infill. Orient the part as seen in the image and add a brim. Use snug supports, painted on only the surfaces shown in the other image. The orientation and supports are already painted in the 3mf file.
