KCD2 – Throne Shield

Your Philips OneBlade is fit for a king! Use the wallmounted display to have easy acces to your OneBlade or use the Throne as a separte free to place stand.

I had several ideas for this contest, but time was limited for me, so I focused on one design with accurate measurements. My original submission was disqualified for unknown reasons, so I carefully reviewed and optimized the files: adjusting scale, refining details, fixing errors, removing unwanted geometry and fixing any potential issues that could affect printability.

All models are fully original and created by me, as shown in the screenshots of the design process. They were designed with both functionality and the theme in mind.

I had planned to create a stand later on for the throne so it could be used together with the charging cable as well. However, because of the unknown disqualification, I Instead spend quite some time fixing all files and created more images and screenshots to prove that it was made by me from scratch.

*The cover image and other image with the Philips Oneblade is made using an AI-generated coloring of renders of the 3d model and background and added the Philips Oneblade 360 to create a more realistic scene.

🛠 Design & Printing Details

  • The design is made for being printed at 0.2mm layer height, but other heights are possible

  • I made several models to have optimal flexibility for printing and orientation

    • the wall mount has two versions

      • Everything as a single mesh

      • Shield and Throne seperate from the torches, for optimal quality

  • All files for assembling have tolerances added of around 0,3mm so you should be able to joing the pars with some glue and without any sanding. *please note that I can't assure the accuracy of a 3d printer.

Size of the models

  • Wall Mount = 237,5 x 198 x 44,5mm

  • Throne = 183 x 60 x 38,5mm

How the design was created:

  • I began designing the shield in CAD to ensure all dimensions were accurate.

  • For the background, I used Blender and applied a heightmap to create the detailed stone wall behind the shield.

  • The Throne was particularly challenging to model, as I had to capture intricate details from Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 while incorporating the Philips logo.

  • The cutout in the Throne was created using a custom 3D CAD model I made specifically of the OneBlade.

  • I then modeled the torch, carefully adjusting the cutouts to fit the OneBlade heads precisely. To simplify printing, these pieces were made separate from the main torch.

  • Most parts were merged using Boolean operations, preserving as much detail as possible. Smaller or delicate elements were left separate to maintain clarity and readability.

🧱 Wall Mounting

  • Designed to be mounted to the wall using Screws (3 or 3,5mm). Please chech the exact screw and head size, most common used 3 and 3,5mm screws should work.

  • You might get away with using adhesive tapes, but i won't recommend it.

  • Use Tape intended for this purpose (e.g., strong double-sided mounting tape and make sure the wall surface is clean and dry before installation.)

⚠ Compatibility Note

  • Philips OneBlade comes in multiple variants. This model is created for Philips Oneblade 360 Qp4631/65

  • Please check your specific OneBlade model before printing. Taller models may require scaling adjustments to ensure a proper fit.
