Because the scanner is a bit tricky to deal with and I didn't want to spend extra money on the handle that's sold as an accessory, I designed my own handgrip.
The scanner has a thread on the underside that fits a standard camera screw. I use this hole to mount the handle on the scanner. Therefore I purchased the following screws:

Assembly instructions
Step 1
Position Scanner_grip_01 on the underside of the scanner as shown and secure the part with the camera screw. The threaded hole is protected by a rubber plug, which must be removed beforehand.
Step 2
Screw Scanner_grip_02 onto Scanner_grip_03. Use 2 M3x10 cylinder head screws for this. Screwing them in is a little difficult because the screws cut the thread.
Step 3
Slide the screwed-together parts Scanner_grip_02 and Scanner_grip_03 onto Scanner_grip_01, which is mounted on the underside of the scanner.
Step 4
Secure the bracket with the split pin (Scanner_grip_04) to prevent it from slipping out accidentally.
