The forces applied by the screws are causing the plastic on the MIK to bend, as the factory has tightened them more than the advised 2.5 Nm.
The bend plastic makes it harder to operate the locking mechanism.
This solution reduces pressure and keeps the basket from sliding caused by less grip on the alu bars.
