When installing a Felt Right wall, cutting around electrical boxes can leave edges that look rough or unfinished. I designed this light switch frame to solve that problem.
This frame fits over a standard light switch plate and neatly covers the edges of the felt cutout, giving the installation a clean and finished look. It helps hide small imperfections in the cut while also protecting the felt from fraying over time.
The model is designed to print easily and does not require supports. Simply print it in the orientation provided in the model file.
Printing Recommendations
Material: PLA or any standard filament
Supports: None required
Infill: This part is very thin, so infill percentage does not matter much
Orientation: Print as shown in the model
Once printed, place it over the felt cutout and install your switch plate on top. The frame sits between the wall and the plate and hides the cut edge.
This is a simple print that can make a noticeable difference in the finished look of a felt wall installation.
