This is a 3D model for a DIY lambda compensator compatible with the ZEISS Axioplan microscope. The dimensions are 6x20 mm, matching the official specifications to ensure it fits perfectly into the standard slot.
Please note that in addition to this 3D printed part, you will need a retardation film or plate to complete the assembly. I personally used this 560nm retarder film from Edmund Optics and confirmed that it works well.
Tips:
If the part doesn't fit smoothly, slightly sand down the edges after printing.
A fixing ring is included in the model to secure the film within the plate hole.
