contraceptive ring

Using the file

attached .stl files are demonstration files and should not be used as is. You should modify the openscad file to you liking and size.

Print needs to be sturdy, aim for >25% infill and a nice quality.

I do not advice you to directly print the ring even with some soft TPU because it will lack elasticity.

Build

Material needed

• 2 part silicone (buy in hardware store / internet)

• silicone oil (frequently sold as treadmill belt lubricant)

• 4 m6 screws + bolts to hold everything together (can be changed in the scad file)

• For a standard ring you should be aiming for around 25g of silicone and 5% silicone oil

2. print the mold (up and down are identical, just print in duplicate.

3. mix the silicone

4. pour the silicone

5. wait 24h

6. Take the silicone out of the mold and heat it
