If you are like me, you have probably lost these, or just simply do not have enough! Since they are just a plastic part, I figured why not take a shot at making a design. Since I am already designing so many models for my Vernier equipment, here is one of the most important for keeping the carts moving!
There are 3 models:
OEM model, which I hope is an accurate recreation of the original. (It doesn't have a retention tab for the magnet....sorry)
Solid model, which would not allow for a magnet to be inserted. Great for velcro!
Solid model with a hole for a 12mm x 6 mm round magnet.
Some things you may want to consider purchasing for this model:
Velcro dots either 15mm or 0.59 inches in diammeter.
12mm x 6 mm Magnets for inside (I don't know what the OEM magnet is...)
Super glue to hold the magnets in place.
If you do try to embed the magnets inside of the solid with hole model, you will need to pause the print right after the hole is finished. This way you can embed the magnets and the printer will fill in the rest. I did my best to pick a good place for embedding the magnets, where it would yield a strong magnetic force, while also maintaining structural integrity of the tab.
