Are you wanting to ride around the neighborhood or to the park with the kids, but don't want to wear your dedicated riding shoes? Enter this platform pedal adapter.
It installs on top of existing SPD pedals, converting them into platform pedals so you can ride with regular shoes. Once you're back home, simply twist them off, store them away, and your bike is back to being ready for the trails.
I opted to use actual SPD cleats to ensure durability and reliability of the pedal connection. A 3D printed cleat interface, like most of the other models utilize, simply won't last through repeated installs and uninstalls.
