Hold your (Easter) egg or small ball with one of these geometric crown style holders. Choose from eight different patterns that range from spiral, helical, or lattice style. There are two group sets to choose from, a slightly wider bottom ring set, and a no-ring smaller radius set. Besides functioning as holders, they also make pretty fun fidget or ball stack balancing toys.
Printing Tips:
Prints without supports.
Easily scalable to desired size.
Consider using TPU 95A as the material to give it more flex.
I used 0.4mm nozzle and 0.28 mm layer height.
For any stringing left over, a handheld torch is useful.
To remove the bottom ring on the larger crown variants just move the model down in the Z-axis.
Without the bottom ring you need really good bed adhesion.
To improve bed adhesion, try a brim (inside only for bottom ring variants).
