Film Copy Stand
I was tired of putting together random gear when I wanted to scan some negatives, a tripod here, a tracing light there, and so on... so I decided to build a dedicated copy stand.
My design is based around the excellent Light Source Mini - 97 CRI, from Negative Supply.
I already had a camera and macro lens and an unused tripod head and clamp.
So I started designing and set off to make my dream a reality. I used a piece of wood for the base, and I welded together a post using some scrap plate and a piece of square tube. Everything else is modelled in Fusion and printed in plastic.
Light Source Mount
This mount is custom sized to the Light Source Mini - 97 CRI, from Negative Supply. I wanted something I could fasten to a base plate once I knew the precise location that my camera would be mounted.
Additionally I wanted to be able to easily remove the light if I wanted to use it for something else.
