VW T5 Cup Holder Replacement / Upgrade (Caravelle – Transporter – Multivan)
Do the cup holders in your VW van keep breaking or getting loose — whether you use it for work, family trips or van life?
No worries — this 3D-printed cup holder is designed as a simple and sturdy replacement solution for the center console in VW T5 models (Caravelle, Transporter and Multivan).
The design provides a more robust structure compared to the original plastic flap mechanism and offers stable support for cups and bottles during driving.
It installs directly in the existing location and restores everyday usability without needing to replace the entire console assembly.
Important fitment note:
For best results, the original cup-gripping mechanism or broken plastic parts should be removed.
This model is designed to work as a standalone replacement insert.
The model can be printed without supports.
Simply flip it upside down in your slicer and print.
Two versions are included:
Version with VW-style logo
Clean version without logo
Both STL and STEP files are provided for easy modification and customization.
Printing recommendations
Use heat-resistant filament suitable for vehicle interiors
PETG is recommended as a minimum
PLA is not recommended, as temperatures inside a parked car in sunlight may cause deformation
Adjust wall thickness / infill depending on intended load and usage
