This model is a 3D printable representation of the mouse brain featuring surface grooves that delineate major cortical regions. It was generated using the Allen Institute's Mouse Common Coordinate Framework (CCF) atlas (see: https://allensdk.readthedocs.io/en/latest/), a high-resolution annotated reference brain volume. Region boundaries are derived directly from the Allen Brain Atlas ontology, making this model anatomically accurate rather than artistically approximated.
Included is the python script to modify the model, changing the groove size and voxel resolution if need be.
# Note, in this model, some cortical zones like the temporal association, ectorhinal, and the perirhinal areas are omitted due to the groove size.
