I started out designing for a frame mount just like how the spool holder is attached to the frame. This works, but must face rearward so that it does not obstruct the extruder.
The second iteration involved removing one of the spool supports and duplicating the twist lock for it to attach there. I like that better than the initial design and I never put two spools on the spool holder.
