A filter holder for experimenting with hydrophobic filter media as an anti-humidity barrier for outdoor electronic enclosure vents. Intended for use in passive/convective cooled systems; attaching a fan directly to the filter may result in damage to the filter media via overpressure.
The as-published design is built around Deschem Science Supply 70mm hydrophobic PTFE membrane filters.
The actual effectiveness of this model + filter as a moisture barrier is yet to be tested.
Initially printed using ASA and the default PrusaSlicer 0.15mm structural profile.
