Long, long ago (early 90's?) there was an adjustable Easter egg dipper that made it easy to lower eggs into the dye cups, hold them at a specific depth, and then lift them for drip-drying.
As far as I can tell, no one makes anything like this any more.
Until... NOW.
I borrowed the ancient and well-loved original from my wife's parents and re-imagined it a bit to produce this model. I recommend printing 100% infill so that it doesn't float and holds the egg steady. I used matte PLA for the demonstration models and it seems to be fine. You couldn't leave the egg in it for extended periods, but for egg-dyeing lengths of time, it's good.
Some gluing is required. See the "assembly" image in the gallery.
I included two handle models. Aesthetically, I like handle "a" better, but handle "b" will work better for smaller dye cups.
