My daughter had a special request, to 3D print some dumplings for her friend's toy lizard. Unfortunately, none of the existing models I found would scale to dollhouse sizes. So I made this original model. The carton walls are 1mm thick. and all parts print without supports.
The characters are Mandarin 美食 ("měishí") which translates literally to "beautiful/delicious food", effectively "gourmet." Print two character each for opposite sides of the carton.
For assembly, I recommend tweezers with CA or another similar superglue. I recommend using a butane torch or lighter to lightly melt the top layer of the dumplings to smooth them a bit before final assembly. Print parts in multiple filament colors or print solid and paint.
