A french cleat hanger/hook running parallel to the wall (which is 90 degrees from most hooks). I use it to hold a wide bag with a strap on the middle, that would simply look goofy and take more space that it should had I used common french cleat hooks. It will be obvious what I mean once you look at the photos.
Designed for a 3/4-inch (18-19 mm) french cleat system. FreeCAD file included if you need to tweak it.
Two perimeters was enough for my use since the bag I have is quite light (<8 lbs), but you should use your best judgement. When in doubt, increase the number of perimeters and in-fill percentage.
