Keep your garden, greenhouse, or indoor pots perfectly organized with these clean and easy-to-read seedling labels! They are perfect for tracking different chili varieties, herbs, or any other sprouting plants in your garden.

How to Add Custom Text in Your Slicer (PrusaSlicer / OrcaSlicer): You don't need a 3D modeling program to customize these; you can do it right in your slicer!

  1. Import the blank label STL into your slicer.

  2. Right-click the model on the build plate and select Add Part > Text (or use the Text tool shortcut on the top toolbar).

  3. Type your plant's name into the text box and choose your preferred font, size, and alignment.

  4. Set the text thickness (depth) so it protrudes slightly above the label surface (0.4mm to 0.6mm works great).

  5. Drag the text to position it perfectly within the label's border.

  6. For Multi-Material: Assign your contrasting filament to this new text part (this will work flawlessly with the CFS or other multimaterial system).

  7. For Single Extruder: Slice the model and use the vertical slider on the right to add a filament change (M600) at the exact layer where the text starts printing.

Printing Options:

  • Multi-Material: Set up the text in your slicer and assign different filaments. Your multi-color system will handle the crisp dual-color text effortlessly.

  • Filament Change: You don't need a multi-material setup to get this look! Since the text and borders are raised, you can simply add a standard filament change at the layer where the text begins.

  • Blank Labels: Print the blank version provided and simply write your plant names using a waterproof permanent marker.

Recommended Print Settings:

  • Material: PETG or ASA is highly recommended if these will be exposed to direct sunlight or heavy moisture outdoors. PLA works perfectly fine for indoor seed starters.

  • Layer Height: 0.2mm provides a great balance of speed and clean text.

  • Infill: 15-20% is more than enough.

  • Orientation: Print flat on the build plate for the best surface finish on the text.
