This is a parquetry sensory multi-piece puzzle based on the geometric woodworking technique that creates geometric, mosaic-like patterns by arranging small pieces of wood (veneer or solid) for flooring or furniture, often using contrasting wood types to enhance the pattern.
This design is a modern geometric basket weave variation pattern. You can print in 3 (or more) different colors, including a fourth color for the base.
Instructions for printing:
PLA, PETG or TPU, no supports, brim optional, infill % of your choice.
- Print 1 x Base_Square in color of your choice
- Print 14 x Piece 1 (4 in lightest color, 6 in middle color, 4 in darkest color)
- Print 2 x Piece 2 (1 in lightest color, 1 in middle color)
- Print 3 x Piece 3 (1 in each color)
- Print 6 x Piece 4 (3 in lightest color, 1 in middle color, 2 in darkest color)
- Print 2 x Piece 5 (Both in darkest color)
Feel free to re-design the pattern by rearranging the pieces or numbers of/combination of pieces used.
